Between the night shots of London and the seafront at Brighton I had enough time to wander along both north and south banks of the Thames. It is indeed liquid history; some well established and some still being made. 

While I’m very familiar with the south bank, I’d not appreciated how much work has been done in opening up the walkways along the north side of the river. It’s much more accessible than when I was spending time working down there. The weather, sadly, was not all that it had been cracked up to be and in the end the conditions better suited a fair smattering of mono images.

 

Once again, More London proved productive and the textures in the pavements worked particularly well in the rain. This is a location that should bear repeated visits…
