Budle Bay

Budle Bay sits to the south of Ross Sands on the opposite side of Ross Low. The bay forms part of the Lindisfarne National Nature Reserve and there are good views across to Lindisfarne along the coastal route between Budle and Bamburgh. It’s also a very popular site for birdwatchers and, at some point, I need to wander down with a long lens. At the south end of the beach are the Bamburgh Lighthouse and Harkess Rocks, where the views across to the Farne Islands start to open up.
